Chosen Solution
I bought the Ifixit battery replacement and install went fine but I plugged my phone in to do the battery callibration and it’s only gone up 5% in the last 5 hours. Is this normal? How long does battery callibration take after putting a new battery in? I have already cleaned out the port and am using a good charger to charge it.
Either the battery is faulty (<– This is more likely the case) or there is a fault on the logic board. Try getting the battery replaced under warranty, contact iFixit for a replacement.
