Is it also that necessary? Because I have a planned repair for the Phone I’ve been working on lately and I would like to know if it’s safe if it has over 25%. The current percentage is precicely 90% - 93%. Thank you in advance.

@phonebuilder the reason for that is listed on here “Before you begin, discharge your iPhone battery below 25%. A charged lithium-ion battery can catch fire and/or explode if accidentally punctured. “ so, over 25% will not be safer in risk of puncture :-) Since you are going to disconnect the battery for all repairs anyway, just be careful that you do not damage it.
