Chosen Solution
I installed a new battery in a iPad 2 for someone. I plugged it into the wall to give it a full charge using the iPad charger. The display shows it is charging because there is a lightning bolt next to the battery. However, the battery percentage will not increase. It only decreases. Are there any fixes for this?
Have you soft reset the iPad by holding power/sleep button + home button? If not, try it out. Also, try charging the iPad on a PC/Mac USB port.
