The is it with pure black, blue solarization appears in people’s mouth and nose and anywhere else on the screen (except for the 15% working normally). When booting the TV the Vizio logo appears and should have a complete black background, but instead 15% approx is correct and the 85% is incorrect being displayed as white. Once I have a signal I have full picture but it’s only in the 85% that solarization is occurring. I replace the T Con Board with a brand new one and no difference. I cleaned all the cable contacts inputs and output port on the T Con Board as well and the Main Board, and Power Board, and again, no difference. Here is a pic to show the problem. I’d like to know if it is the Main Board or if the Panel is defective or if there’s something else I can do with the LVDS cables? Thanks!
@eosirl bad LCD driver board (either failed gate drivers or bad flat ribbon connection). It is bonded so no easily replaced by the experts even less so by us DIY’ers. Looks like you will need a new panel, but take a look at the ribbon cables first and see what you find out.
