My iPad Mini’s headphone port stopped detecting headphones after attempting to plug in a 2.5 mm headphone jack. Any suggestions? The port functions fine except for that.
This is usually caused by a dirty headphone port, which impedes the free movement of the metallic contacts. You would try cleaning it by wetting a Q-Tips with IPA. You may have to thin out the swab to allow it to fit inside the port.
