I press the power button on the Xbox and it will make the nosie that it is turning on and the light will turn on then after about 5 seconds is will make the shutting or nosie then shut off.
could be a bad power supply or a fault with the motherboard, there various things that can cause on off issues that nobody can tell for sure through a help forum to be honest.
