My MPOW Flame Bluetooth headphones aren’t working. I’ve tried connecting them, and it said out of range. Then, they stop working. I’ve put them on charge for several hours, and nothing’s changed. I press the “ON” button and I hear two beeps and the red/blue lights flicker for a second or two. They’ve been in my cabinet for a couple months and nothing on the internet has helped me. Any takers?
Hi @gooby , When you charged them did the charging light go from red to blue to let you know that the battery was fully charged? It may be that the battery if failing to hold its’ charge when under load or it has been depleted beyond recovery and has to be replaced. Unfortunately, I cannot find any information online on how to replace the battery in your headphones. There may be another solution for you to consider. How old are the headphones? According to this link there may be an 18 month manufacturer’s warranty on the headphones so you may wish to follow this up if your headphones aren’t that old.
Hi @Jean Riddle If you just bought them, return them and get a replacement or a refund. They are faulty and should be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.
It could be that the earphone cable has shorts. I realize every time i touch the cord on mine it turns off/disconnects from my laptop/phone. I have the MPow Flame 2
I have found that the wire connecting the battery (in the left ear piece) to the circuit (in the right ear piece) shorts out as said in other answers to fix this I have used J-B Weld to glue a piece of plastic on the base of the right ear piece letting it sit and getting a spring over the plastic piece and glueing that there has made it work fine I think it’s a fine fix if you aren’t bothered by the gray glue on the right ear piece Edit: that is if you for some reason you can’t get a replacement or refund
If all else fails, try a reset. Mine are the mpow flame solo, and they randomly stopped playing audio from my phone. The headphones were fine, the voice spoke to tell me they were turned on. To reset: make sure they’re not connected to whatever device you’re connecting to. Take them out of the charging box, make sure they’re turned on, but not connected. Hold down the +volume and - volume button at the same time and hold until the headphones turn off. Turn them on and connect. Voila~
I have MPOW M30. Both of the ear buds charge fine and follow all commands like pause, play, next, previous, volume max and min but my right bud is not playing any sound. I tried reset, charging them as well as turning them off and then on. Any fix for it?
I have a Mpow flame lite and only one headset has sound. Am I doing something wrong?
