I have tried turning it on using factory mode and charging it and turning it on safe mode but nothing happens. I’ll take the battery out and then put it back in and try to turn it on but all I get is a glitch and nothing happens. I have dropped a couple of time and dropped it in a little water but that was a year ago. Right before this happened I didn’t do anything to it, I didn’t drop it at all.
Can you get it to power on to the restore menu as you said factory mode . Do you get the Samsung start logo? This could be the water you dropped it in had finally done its damage. What most people dont realize is that when you get your phone wet its not always an immediate problem . If the phone doesn’t short out and is dried out it can function for quit a while before it dies . What happens is that over time the moisture that died out left behind mineral deposits that begin to corrode . and as this corrosion spreads in the phone, it eventually gets to a point where it will short out the phone . This can take a day or a year or more . If you can get into the restore menu try wiping the cache partition first and if that brings no joy then try a factory restore, but be forewarned that the factory restore will wipe the phone clean and all your data and apps will be lost. Hope this helps
