I have a Samsung pn51d6500df plasma tv. It keeps clcling on and off. When plugged in a Samsung logo appears in the middle of the screen. After approximately 5 sec that disappears HDMI appears in the upper left corner of the screen for approximately the same time and then the process starts over.
@freddyboy I am not convinced that this is a totally unfixable problem. You do want to go ahead and check a few things like the power supply. The rebooting process could be caused by a failure to initiate. It will help if you post some images of all of your boards with your question. Just unplug you reset and remove the back cover to get to those. This will allow us to see what you see. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that. I am not saying to it is fixable but this error does not sound like anything that would indicate “planned obsolescence”. Let’s at least try to help you out and keep your TV out of the landfill for a bit longer.
Had this exact same thing happen to my tv. Now for the good and the bad news the good news is it stopped after about 6 months of use. The bad you have to wait 6 months, my buddy new a guy who worked in a Samsung factory making tvs. Samsung pograms the tv to break down after a while so you buy a new one its really suck what big box companies do;(
