Chosen Solution
So I have an old PS3 that had the YLOD, which I fixed (at least temporary). So now the system starts up, but soon after it ramps up the fan, then it turns off. Also, I can hear the startup sound, but I don’t get a video output from HDMI. When it turns off, the red power light blinks.
It had the YLoD again, but I have fixed it now using the iFixit guide. I didn’t having cooling properly so it broke again.
