I have replaced the screen with two new screens and both screen work perfectly except for the touch screen element doesn’t work - is there a connection i am missing or a software reset option that can resolve this?

Did you get your replacement screen from iFixit or somewhere else? If you are fine using the tablet without using the touchscreen do the following: Get a wired mouse and a Micro USB OTG adapterCharge the devicePlug the OTG adapter into the Micro USB port.Plug the mouse into the female USB port on the OTG adapter.You should see a pointer on the screen.
