For the past few months I’ve noticed that my games go in to the system rather slow and often need to add an extra nudge or it gets stuck half way. Didn’t know if I need a new drive or just cleaned.
Your rollers need to be cleaned. Once they get dirty they do what you are describing. Once you have your disc drive apart you can remove the bottom plate and you can get to the rollers. They just snap in and out so you can pull them out and give them a good cleaning with a q tip and some isopropyl alcohol. Good luck!
