Hi; I had this issue for a while. My speaker stop playing anything (full volume) and even after repairing it, it still has the same issue. Any ideas why?
Hi @godzilla5123 Back up the phone and try a factory restore. If it still doesn’t work in the factory default condition you have got a hardware problem. If it works, restore the phone using the backup and see if it still works now. If it does then the reset fixed it. If not then a downloaded app is the cause. You need to uninstall each downloaded app one by one and test between each uninstall to see if it works. When it does the last one uninstalled was the problem
I was having issues with the speaker on my rca tablet. I could barely hear anything out of it even when turned up all the way. Due to another issue I was having a master reset did not help with the sound. Upon opening up my tablet I found the speaker was covered in dust and metal slivers that were being held there as if magnetized. With a soft dry cloth I gently wiped off the speaker until it was completely clean. The sound now works perfectly again.
