I’ve had my PS4 Slim since Christmas 2018. So far, it’s operated without issue… until now. My PS4 keeps lagging, especially on games like COD or Spider-Man. When I put it on rest mode, it does two quiet clicks, and randomly shuts off. I tried initialization, but it hasn’t worked. Is there anything I can do about it?
If it feels very sluggish in the PS4 System software main menu with freezing when navigating that menu and in games and take a very long time to turn on or shut down the hard drive is faulty and needs to be replaced. We get a lot of PS4s with the same problem at our console repair store so it’s guaranteed to be that.
