I replaced the display on my iphone and now my fingerprint sensor doesnt work at all. I cant enable it in the settings, I’m not given to option of adding new fingerprints etc.
If you purchased the full assembly you can try replacing the metal shield with the old one, that’s where you have the touch ID connecting flex cable. If you moved already the old one in the new screen you may have damaged the flex, the connector or the home button flex, cables are very delicate and quite easy to tear. You would need good light and magnification to be able to see a possible damage.
