I was disassembling my orange when the anti-tampering mechanism turned on for the fifth time and sprayed my already stinging eyes. So I left the basement (where I do all my work) and decided to have a go on it the next day. However when I came back the was a green fuzzy spot where I had removed the outer shell. Is this normal?
Yes it is mold. Green mold is caused by the fungus Penicillium digitatum which is ubiquitous to all citrus growing regions.
Get out of the basement. You’re seeing green spots.
Transformer-bot?!
I opened my bag of oranges to find this and powder flew everywhere. Bugs
Well it’s not good but it does mean it is OEM and authentic. It’s better than coming back and not seeing the fuzzy green spot, that means it’s a fake which could give you a virus of some sort.
