Hi! My 15" MBP is doing a weird double clicking thing when I press the mouse button in certain places. If I hit it square in the middle while I’m surfing the web, it’s totally fine, but if I press it on the right or left sides it makes this annoying half click and I have to hit it twice very quickly to get it to click. Any idea what may be going on? Or if this is salvageable? PS) this is a hardware problem, not a software issue.
Try going to System preferences - trackpad and check the Double-Click Speed, also the box for Tap trackpad using two fingers and see if that fixes it.
