I use facetime to talk to one of my sisters. One day no problem with her hearing me but the next time we tried facetime she couldn’t hear me at all. I then checked memo -got ver,very faint sound but just static when I tried to do a video with the camera. I’m not technically inclined but see no settings for the microphone Please -If anyone knows would appreciate the help- Thanks
The microphone “hole” is on the back of the housing, next to the rear camera. It could be plugged up with dirt/lint, attenuating the sound that gets through. You could try cleaning it with a cotton swab and IPA or even “picking” at it with something pointy. Just be careful not to stick anything inside too deeply.
