Chosen Solution
I accidentally spilled a drink on the part where my laptop charges through. Now, My laptop only turns on if its being charged. If i remove the charger it immediately turns off. Everything still runs as normal though.
It’s very likely the spill shorted one ore more components on the charging/battery power lines. I’d recommend following the steps provided by this guide MacBook water damage - The definitive guide and see what happens. Unless properly taken care of, liquid residues are probably going to make things worse with time.
