Hi guys, If I use my laptop for a long time and if I want to close it, it requires a bit more pressure and I hear some noise while closing it
Boy thats a serious Thump sound! I was expecting a squeak of the hinge pin. This is a bit more as the alignment of the hinge is off so when you hit a give spot the lid shell deforms. Similar to how a concentric jam/pickle jar lids make a noise when you pop them open the first time or distort them in your hand, here the whole lid is making the sound. I would bring the system into an Apple Store or authorized Apple reseller to have the system fixed under warranty as the lid hinges have shifted somehow.
