Chosen Solution All images on my Sony RX100 have a spot (dust?) to the right of center. How can we clean the sensor? @waddie could be dust on the CMOS. The sensor is part of the flex cable which screws on the back of the lens assembly. Remove it and clean it carefully. Let us know if you need more help with this. #60 in the image is the CMOS imager with flex....

Chosen Solution My tablet battery was bloated but working. I have replaced the battery twice and it will not charge now. The status in the lower right shows Battery 1: 0% and Battery 2: 100%. If I go into the Microsoft Surface Diagnostic Toolkit and click on the battery section on the left side, it shows Battery 1 Discharging and 34% current charge. It shows Battery 2 Charged and 0% current charge....
Chosen Solution . So what initially happened was that the hard drive started to slow down tremendously. And a error message popped up stating that the hard drive was defective. I simply popped it out and inserted a new one. But now my laptop wont read any hard drive I have inserted into it. JackMedina, if your drive is recognized by your computers BIOS, try to boot your computer from a bootable USB or optical disk....
Chosen Solution I had my EarPods and was a little bored so I took the top of the remote off and it does not go back in like the old ones. Is there a way to put them back in? @hiappleusers , Hunter, They say that these are still of throw away design, not meant to be repaired. if the small clips are deformed in any way they may not stay intact with out a little glue....
Chosen Solution The machine washers and spins at the end of the wash cycle but doesn’t spin after it drains the rinse cycle, it just ends leaving the clothes wet. I read it might be related to the water level control but not sure. First do a Master Reset. To perform the Master Reset, carefully unplug the washing machine from the power outlet and leave it unplugged for one minute. After one minute is up, plug the washer cord back into the wall....

Chosen Solution I have a mac g4 titanium laptop. I replaced the harddrive and dvd a couple of years ago and it’s been working fine. Yesterday though i shut it down and now i can’t power it back up. Oh the battery can’t hold a charge anymore apart from a minute or two With the DC charger connected it should start up even if the battery is not installed. Do you get any lights, any tone on startup?...
Chosen Solution All, I have an iPhone 6 that was suffering from very poor to nearly unusable wifi as well as bluetooth unreliability. I pulled the motherboard to check if the flex antenna was good. When removing the flex antenna 3 of the connections came out fine then the third fell off without me touching it. The connection had not been properly soldered to the board. I tried to solder it back on, but it was beyond my soldering skill (some solder wicked up into the connector and ruined it)....

Chosen Solution I’m trying to complete a DFU but my iphone wont charge/ connect to the computer or any other charger. So i cant complete the DFU. Do i need to replace the motherboard or the charging port? You will need to replace your charge dock flex assembly. If it still will not connect to your PC or charge it will be a faulty component on the logic board.
Chosen Solution Had a new battery installed a couple of months ago. Charging connection goes on and off some times get a “not supported accessory alert”. Got new cables, tried different chargers, cleaned lightning port. I’m capable of installing a new port, but is it really worth the time, effort and $ with such an old 6S? Have you tried an OEM Apple cable or a cable with the Built for iOS devices branding on the packaging?...
Chosen Solution I installed a Yamaha RX-V385 receiver, and paired the Xfinity X-15 remote to it. The only thing controlled is the volume. Why won’t it turn the receiver on? I contacted Xfinity, and worked through the fix from their side. I hadn’t followed their program process far enough. By using another available code, I was able to accomplish my goal. Sounds like the programming code you used is not complete for your receiver....
Chosen Solution I spilled coffee over the keyboard about a week ago. I immediately wiped down the surface. Once everything was dried off I noticed the MacBook was no longer able to turn on unless it was plugged into the charger. Later in the day I also noticed it performing much slower and was slightly glitchy but still able to function. I don’t know a lot of computer terminology but I would would think I need to replace my battery and perhaps something else....
Chosen Solution Mac Mini mid-2010 used it for about a 18 mo no problems, then put it on a shelf. 3 years later, it won’t start… the SOS error tones sound. I put it back on the shelf for a year. Today I replaced the PRAM battery, after numerous references to this, as well as swapping the RAM cards (with each other) and dusting them off. Still the beeping tones, can’t do safe start up, can’t reset SMC or PRAM....
Chosen Solution My customer brought in this Macbook Pro. It had a bad battery that was swollen. He had brought it in because it wasn’t charging and eventually it went down to 0% on him and he couldn’t use it so he brought it to us. I almost always just remove the battery and all power sources and let it sit for a bit to discharge so I tried that and it started charging again....
Chosen Solution I have an iPhone 11 which is my daily driver, I disliked the color so I bought a used black housing to swap the internals to the new housing, I started unscrewing one of the screws on the bottom but it instantly became rounded off and stripped, I then started the other one only for that one to break half way out, I don’t know what to do here, I think ill flatten the sides of the half out screw in order to use tweezers to twist it out but with the one that still stuck I think ill use a small drill bit and go in reverse and try to use the drill bit to bite into the screw to get it out, if there’s anything else to try please inform me, I have used the right screw and all the elastic band and glue tricks...
