If it does not charge, check your charger, your cable and then the connector. If all that checks okay it is possible that the not charging is because of a bad battery, or because of a bad charging port (common on this model). so since you have to take it apart for either job anyway, I’d repalce the battery and check the port while doing so....

Is there anything I can do to fix this? If the device is moving slower or freezing you might need more RAM. Use the RAM replacement guide to add more RAM to your computer. Randomly, I got this thin grey-ish line a bit lower than the middle of my screen and I can’t figure out what the problem is, given the fact that the TV is less than 2 months old. Hi Aaron, You may have just accidentally disabled the touchpad. To check if this is the case, look for a button located above the F7-F12 keys. It’ll look like a square with a hand and a plus sign, if the red light is on, then it’s disabled....

And even from few days its right side of sceen got stuked and sometimes become noice grey. If i unpluged it from charer it gets restarting again. Please help!! I’m not sure about the gray. Before performing a hard reset ensure that the battery is fully charged. Be aware that a hard reset will erase all your user data and downloaded apps. What is my decision point on doing these things, given it is about a 6+ year old machine? Even in a good environment, the thermal paste is always shot after 5 years - with cleaning being worse on some machines but easier on others. It will still make the job much easier even though you don’t have one of the difficult systems....
