Chosen Solution I just replaced my iPhone 5 battery. The old battery had swollen and lifted the screen away from the bezel. All went well (t.y. ifixit for that) but the screen to bezel connection is still loose. There are several recommendations here and elsewhere involving double sided tape or very careful use of glue. I may still try one of these option. However this phone is probably going to be replaced this fall with whatever apple brings out....

Start off with a new battery and then re-evaluate. that way you have a known-well starting point.

Chosen Solution The unit will not turn on. It is plugged in but when I hit the power button it makes a ‘pop’ sound through the speakers and does nothing. Is it shorting itself out? Brandon, could be a faulty power button, power supply or board issue. Have a good small electronics repair shop have a look,diagnose and estimate repair. Good luck. Chosen Solution I’ve pushed the ‘ON’ button on the vacuum , but it wont turn on. What can i do? First, make sure the vacuum is plugged in. If the vacuum is plugged in and the switch is pushed on, but it’s not turning on then try to reset your circuit breaker or reset the motor thermostat. Thanks iphones in particular do not pair with other phones over bluetooth, and especially not with phones of a different brand (they cite security as the reasoning for this) Unfortunately there is no way to rectify this

Chosen Solution how can i fix my iphone se When troubleshooting charging issues, I would do the following (in order): Always try another Lightning cable and charger, preferably Apple original or MFi certified units.The Lightning cable 8-pin connector should be sitting flush with the housing and completely inserted. If it is not, there could be lint/dust/debris inside the port impeding a proper connection. You can clean it out with fine point tweezers or a dental pick....

Chosen Solution WiFi and bluetooth quite functioning several weeks ago. Took it to Genius bar but they could not fix it. I attempted to use it this week for the first time in about two weeks and the WiFi was now fully functional. (forgot to check Bluetooth.) I then got an iOS update message to upgrade to 10.2. Chosen Solution Will start up and run if I put gas on the air filter once the gas is gone it shuts off @slyford , when you pour gas in carb. it starts, there could be a few different things causing your no start condition. Make sure fuel is good/fresh and fuel lines are not pinched or plugged. Loosen fuel cap and try to start, if it starts and runs the fuel cap vent is plugged....

Chosen Solution So I have an iMac that won’t enable WiFi (greyed out) in Big Sur. I booted externally from on old High Sierra external SSD and it had the same problem, so I reckoned it should be a hardware issue. I replaced the WLAN adapter (PN: Z653-00011) with a WLAN adapter that belongs to the bigger 27” iMac (PN: Z653-0005). The replacement module is a bit smaller but it fits in the board and the antenna’s snap on nicely....
