Hi @cripple If you are not having any problems with the pictures that you are taking, i.e. pictures are still OK and not just black or faulty images etc (despite the screen problems) then the problem may be a faulty LCD screen cable connection or perhaps an intermittently faulty LCD screen. Chosen Solution I recently bought a new battery from iFixIt for the device indicated and installed it. When I run MRI (Mac Resource Inspector) with the power adapter plugged in, the program is reporting that the that the battery can’t hold a charge. Is it because it’s a third party battery? It’s normal for 3rd party batteries to show up as defective in MRI. Apart from that they’ll still charge and function properly, just like the Apple ones....
