Chosen Solution I bought a 128 gb Western Digital GREEN SSD to upgrade my Old 2008 24 inch iMac, it worked brilliant, no issues. I then decided to upgrade my old 2011 2.5 ghz with a SSD, so I purchased a 500 gb Western Digital BLUE SSD, plugged it into USB 2 to SATA connector to Transfer over the Data, it would not recognise the SSD. I then tried it on the Older 2008 24 inch - still did not see it, tried it with a 2013 Macbook Pro, still did not see it, in desperation I plugged it into my very Old MDD Powermac G4 (that I still use btw) and still did not show up....

You’re only option is to swap out the complete logic board which is very expensive and has risks! Given the fact the phone is so new I would look at selling it and buying another phone with larger storage....

Chosen Solution The back glass is lifting off my iPhone 8 at the bottom, and I don’t want/need to replace it. Will it cause any issues if I use super glue around the edge? I don’t care about water resistance. If super glue is a bad idea, are there any other viable options? Yeah super glue should be fine as long as it’s only coming up in one section. You won’t have to worry about getting the alignment wrong and then it’s super-glued down…If the glass does break at any point and you want to replace it, you will have a hard time removing the pieces of glass directly glued onto the frame from your super glue....

Chosen Solution my MacBook Pro goes black several times a day. I’m not able to do anything with it then but dead boot it. I do run programs on it that run 24/7 and have to reopen every single one every time i have to reboot. The screen goes black at different times, and lately even sometimes when i’m not switching between windows or open a new window up. PLease help i love my mac but this is getting really frustrating...

Chosen Solution It isn’t charging when I wake up, after leaving it on the charger overnight. I answered my own question to say that it’s a feature designed to extend the life of your battery. The case will automatically stop charging the phone after a certain period of time.

Chosen Solution mail quits unexpectedly every time i go mail i get the spinning ball and then mail quits and i get the message mail has quit unexpectedly. Sounds like your drive is having problems. Do you have access to a second Mac system which you can connect to your Mini in Target Mode? If you can you could use the other Mac to check your drive. But before you do that make sure you’ve made a good backup of your stuff first!...

Chosen Solution I need to take this off of my tablet I’m not blind at all If your referring to large font then you need to go into the settings and look for Accessibility setting and disable it . Depending on which version of android you have , you will need to set multiple functions in the accessibility setting ,depending on what the tablet is doing. Hope this helps

When i did that I used it again right after and while I was using it, the device seemed very hot, the battery specifically. What’s wrong with my device? Chosen Solution For once i tried to remove my display by myself and place it back and i did it quite successfully but after that came the problem. I was not able to switch on my device and when i connected to charger it displayed that the battery was charging and then the apple logo came up then sometimes red color flashed up and sometime blue color flashed up but most of the time with out any thing happening it went back to showing battery charging symbol then apple logo, it continued as a loop....

Chosen Solution My laptop fell and the inches screw broke off its hold! Hence it’s lifting tray on that side of the laptop. So I decided to open it up to fix it since I have the knowledge of doing so! After fixing the inches and recoupling, I found out my screen display has color distortions; showing lines of colour, multiple colours and rounded colors like magenta, blue and etc. I have displayed the screen to an external monitor and it displayed FINE!...

Chosen Solution Macbook Pro 2015 running latest mac os high sierra 10.13.6. One of the usb ports stopped working out of the blue for seemingly no reason. Chosen Solution I think something that got lose inside my controller, whenever i shake it there’s a noise inside that sounds like something is shaking in there. The controller works fine though, this has happened to both of my controllers. There are several things that can cause this. Sometimes one of the screws inside the controller will come loose and start rolling around inside. There are some plastic parts of the controller inside that can break off and cause this noise Sometimes something can fall inside the controller near the triggers....

Micro-soldering flexes is tricky because you can easily melt the flex so this is really beyond what a DIY fixer should handle. If you have the tools and skills to do this kind of work, then you don’t really need an iFixit guide ;>)....

Chosen Solution Why my lcd screen has single vertical pink line? It won’t gone even though I has reset PRAM, wipe the screen pixel with hands. Chan Ricky, vertical lines on any LCD usually indicate a failure of the LCD panel. There is also a small possibility that this is caused by a faulty video cable itself. So check on that first. Of course, also check on an external monitor and see if it shows the same line, then you narrowed it down to the video card portion of your computer....

Chosen Solution I recently changed my tmobile Note 5’s battery with the kit I bought from ifixit. I calibrated the battery after I install it or atleast I tried. I used the phone for couple of days and thought it was fine but later my phone started to shut off randomly and mostly below 50% battery.
