Chosen Solution Hello. I was attempting to replace my GSM antennae on my iPad 2 logic board following the instructions on step 38 on iPad 2 Wi-Fi EMC 2415 Bluetooth/Wi-Fi Antenna Replacement. Unfortunately, the ZIF socket was crumbled when i tried to remove the headphone and front cover cable. Two questions: (1) can this ZIF socket be replaced/repaired and if so, where can I find some information on it and (2) if I didn’t repair it and just left it unconnected, would the logic board still work but without a headphone jack and front camera?...

Chosen Solution One of my (5) SM 58 mics suddenly seems to have lost all bottomend- sounds thin and a bit tinny. Same cable/ input all other mics fuller sound. More out put. Any ideas? I found that a piece of the grey foam circle on the capsule (so inside the mic after you remove the spherical guard) had lodged itself in one of the holes in the membrane guard....

Chosen Solution My seven year old laptop is shutting down within a couple minutes of booting up. I think it’s the cpu overheating because the centre top of the underside of the laptop is heating up rapidly in that time and the fan is spinning loudly. Chosen Solution For some reason the playstation 2 is in black and white only. We tried to plug something else into the connection on the TV and it was fine but the playstation is still only black and white. Tara, depends on how you have your PS2 connected. If you are using the component cables, check in the system settings and check if its in regular RGB. If you use the regular Yellow, Red and White cables, it should be in RGB mode....

Chosen Solution The camera is not reading my memory card when inserted. Try testing the memory card in another device. Chosen Solution I’m having this problem since the beginning of May 2010. Turning on my MBP (or turning it on from the sleep mode), my screen shows immediately many vertical, colored lines, then it starts to flicker till it freezes; I can see my desktop with many small dots, that slightly turn to white till I’m no more able to see anything else. Chosen Solution I turned the scale on and placed something on the metal plate, but the readings keep changing numbers. Make sure the scale is on a flat surface I had a similar problem with a Wheatstone bridge strain gauge based set of scales, after the device had been dropped. After taking the scales apart I determined that the strain gauge and electronics were working fine by placing the load plate (top part) with the strain gauge still attached upside down, and then placing known loads on the underside of the strain gauge....

Chosen Solution When I turn on my drone and connect the controller the lights go from flashing to solid but then the drone won’t take off. The propellers spin for a second but then nothing happens. Help? There may be hair or debris entangled in the base of your propeller. To remove the debris, use the little silver lever (that comes with the drone kit) to pop off the propeller. Clean out the base (you may need some tweezers), and then just pop the propeller back into place....

Chosen Solution I have a whirlpool cabrio top load washer. It will not spin or agitate. When it is sensing. You here a quick him from the motor but nothing moves. It has a separate electric drain pump. So it does drain. It is belt driven. When I go underneath the washer I can spin belt by hand. I can hear water moving inside tub. Chosen Solution Hey All, I would like to thank anyone reading this post right at the start Laptop is Air A1466 EMC 2779, mid 2012 version with i7, 8GB ram Symptoms -Battery holds no charge, laptop is incredibly slow, turns off a couple seconds after disconnecting AC adapter -pmset -g batt returns ‘Drawing from ‘Battery Power’; InternalBatter-0 (removed)’ even while plugged in -Menu bar has battery with X in it, lists ‘Condition:Normal; No Batteries Available; Power source: Battery’ -AC adapter is new, shows green light during operation, orange light when in recovery mode (but never actually charges the battery) -coconutBattery returns NaN for all fields, System Information does not list a cycle count, but its safe to say the cycle count is a few hundred -I ran extended hardware diagnostic and it returned ‘No trouble found’ after 2 separate passes -The laptop refuses to switch to AC power What’s Been Tried -SMC and PRAM have both been reset more than once, making sure to give it extra time to reset -Mountain Lion was reinstalled fresh yesterday, and I can’t update to High Sierra because an error reads “Your computer is not connected to a power source....

Chosen Solution wont turn on . tried new battery . tried the reset’s. took to best buy no luck. if battery is out red charge light comes on for a little while then off. if battery in no charge light. ! service place said I t was board and I will lose info. pictures and contacts. Chosen Solution After a while of playing music, my deck will change sound quality and sound like it’s coming from a stereo. If I hit the “M” it changes it back. After a while it becomes more frequent. Is this a speaker issue? Possible Bluetooth issue? I’m not really sure where to start fixing. If it is paired though Bluetooth, this could be an issue with connectivity. My AirPods do this sometimes, along with other Bluetooth things I have used....

Chosen Solution Hi there :) I’ve purchased this laptop from company who repair laptops. Left speaker is “squeaky” like it would have interference (and only when is active) I’ve replaced it with second hand from eBay and still got such a noise - is it possible that something else is broken? Connector looks ok. Can it be something connected with headphone jack or something else. Definitely obvious things like new macOS reinstall - SMC and NVRAM reset did not helped :( Some updates: No liquid damage - all 10 or more stickers are whiteBoth speakers are 100% fine as I swap them and left working one was crackling in right connector....

Chosen Solution SSD has been replaced. Is the panel damaged? Is there any problem with the motherboard? Ouch !! You have managed to damage both your display and the logic board !! The logic board will need a new connector, the display is beyond hope ;-{ Time to find someone who has deeper skills that can fix your logic board. You’ll still need a new display assembly sadly.
