At first the web camera quit working intermittently whenever I moved the hinge. But it slowly got worse until the camera quit working permanently. It seems that one or more wires are broken where they go through the hinge....
Chosen Solution I am trying to fix this for a friend. It is a white macbook, I don’t know for sure whether its an a1181, the writing on the bottom is rubbed off the case. When you hit the power button it will get to different stages of the start process, but it doesn’t stop at the same spot consistently. sometimes I can log on and start toying with it, other times it will get to the apple screen and stop, and still other times there will be just nothing....

Chosen Solution I’ll admit it - I split water on my Mac.. I was relieved to hear that the circuits survived but now my apps don’t work because my Mac can’t determine its location… is there any way of fixing this?????? At this point it sounds like your drive is corrupted! Before you go forward here I would recommend you make a backup on a fresh drive all of your work as well as any app installers for apps you didn’t get from the Apps Store as you may need to reformat the drive....
Chosen Solution So, my MacBook Pro makes the starting chime, but nothing happens, after about 5 seconds, again the starting chime sounds, but nothing happens, there is no display. This happens continuously. Not good :-{ This is a common symptom when the discreet GPU chip has failed as the POST process fails to complete so the system resets and tries again getting into a loop. Shut it down, this time on the restart quickly press the T key which will put your system into Target Disk Mode, which by passes the discreet GPU POST process....

Chosen Solution The air pipe on the top of my sink gushes out water during one of the dishwasher cycles (which one -??). I already disconnected the rubber hose under the sink that goes from the breather to the disposal and it was clear - what else should I look at? I have read about other fixes, but was wondering; can I make the internal fan run all the time and would that keep it cool enough to iron delicate fabric? Thanks for all the feedback. I removed the rubber bottom, jumped the fan with a resistor so it runs all the time and added rubber feet to improve the airflow underneath. It runs cool now, with only a little fan noise....
Chosen Solution I started my washer then after mostly filling it blew the circuit breaker. I reset the breaker but it keeps blowing. What do I check, or do? You obviously have an electrical short. Unplug it. Use a multimeter to test continuity. Look for loose wires, burned wires or burned spots.

Chosen Solution Yesterday, I noticed that my water was just warm, and wouldn’t get hot. Later that night, we did have some hot water, but it only lasted about 5min. This morning, I also had hot water for about 5min. I attempted to do some research online, and everything seemed to point to the lower element. I replaced Both elements. And I replaced Both Thermostats too while I was at it....
Chosen Solution today i woke up and my sd card port not working i got a new sd card and doesnt work i tried the new and old sd cards in other phones and they work perfectly You can try a hard reset of the phone but chances are it’s a faulty reader. Will need repaired/replaced. Since you already tried other cards it’s probably not a corrupted card.
Chosen Solution I’ve been looking to see my specific problem fixed, and nobody has said a good fix yet. When my battery drops to 0 and it turns off, I physically cannot charge the tablet. The battery screen will display, but it will flicker intensely, turning to screen completely off and completely on like 10 times a second which I assume is the thing that’s sipping up all the power I try to feed to the battery....
Chosen Solution I am repairing a tablet for my dad, and I have on two occasions tried to “unlatch” the ribbon connectors, but accidentally broke off a piece of plastic because the side I was pulling up on was the wrong side, opposite the side with the latch that I am supposed to pull up to free the ribbon cable (in the attached picture the latch is the white side of the connector)....

When the power button is pressed, the screen lights up, the Apple logo appears, and after a few seconds the universal “NO” sign appears and it goes no further. When I try to start with a CD, it spins, and it sounds like it is starting up. However, all I get is the Apple logo on the screen, and after a few seconds it just freezes with the Apple logo....
