Chosen Solution My ps4 will turn on then do the system check gets to about 60% then tells me can not turn on ps4 and i shoukd connect a flashdrive to it with a new update. Sounds like your system software has been corrupted or that you input a new drive that needs to be re-encrypted. You can find the system firmware files HERE. The top screen shows white with very faint partial images and my d-pads are not responsive with some directions not working at all. Replacing the d-pad’s underneath cushion shouldn’t be a trouble at all. But tutorials proved replacing the top screen to be challenging. And what’s worse is I’ll need to de-solder the speakers attached then solder them to the new screen....

Chosen Solution It won’t turn on ,charge or reset. Also if I tap the bottom of either side I can hear something loose inside… should I open up and look for loose parts? YES. If you are comfortable doing this, and you’re sure it’s not powering on (vs this just being an image issue, where you just can’t see anything on the screen), for sure open it up. I have seen many cases where Taptic Engine engine screws work themselves loose and then wind up floating around in the phone....

Chosen Solution Bought a replacement screen/digitizer and it works fine, but the screen has a strange mark on the top. Kind of made up of vertical lines and looks like its underneath the screen. I’ve requested a replacement from the vendor as I’m sure it’s not fixable. But I’m just curious? looks like your screen lamination is not holding up. (the glue that holds the digitizer and lcd together). Im not too sure you could easily fix this without separating the digitizer and lcd and applying new adhesive which is pretty hard to do without breaking your lcd due to how fragile it is

Chosen Solution I keep dropping my wifi connection from an Airport Extreme router. My husband’s iBook never drops a connection. I switched to a g from an n network, but still drop a connection after a while on line. I’m not sure if this will help your problem, but have you installed the latest updates for both the Airport Extreme and your MacBook Pro. that may be a good first thing to try this week Apple released Airport Client software update, and a few months back there was an update to the Airport Extreme itself too....
