Chosen Solution I replaced the heating element on my whirlpool dishwasher but it still won’t dry the dishes. The water gets hot enough to fog my glasses but will not dry the dishes. Chosen Solution Hi there, I purchased a used iphone but it won’t turn on unless it is plugged in to the wall (it won’t turn on if plugged in to the computer, and thus, itunes won’t recognize it). When plugged in to the wall, it shows the apple logo, and then immediately goes to the ‘connect to itunes’ screen. However, when you unplug to connect to itunes, the screen goes black and it won’t turn on....

Chosen Solution i dropped my phone on the ground and it didnt smash but it got a green glitch across the top of the screen and now the screen doesnt work. it turns on and all the vibration works and the lights around the screen but the screen wont turn on, also the letters for the password vibrates but i the screen is just black. sometimes the green comes back but not always....

Chosen Solution hello, i am running win xp on my imac a1224, the one with the solid aluminium body. the Mac osx operating system works without a problem, it is only when i go to use windows that this loop thing happens, no matter what option i choose to load windows i.e safe mode, safe mode + networking etc i get a very short BSOD and the computer reboots. on thing i have noticed is thtat i can hear two sets of clicks that are about half a second apart whist at the Windows xp Load screen....

Chosen Solution My IPod (First Generation) will not let you slide the bar to unlock. Turns on/off but cannot slide??? sounds like the digitiser (front screen) needs to be replaced. You could try to reset the ipod by holding home and power button until apple appears and then allow to reboot but if that fails then probably you will need to replace the screen. the guide is linked under the photo of the ipod....

Chosen Solution My kindle will not start, shows only start up screen. Have followed reboot instruction from amazon but didn’t work. Called tech support and they told me to purchase a new one. Is it repairable? If it was an apple product you may have been more lucky with the support, however with amazon kindles, buying a new one is probably the best you can do.

Chosen Solution (The speaker hasn’t been exposed to any water or dropped before, but I have taken it outside numerous times in the sun.) My Flip 3 had an issue that it seemed to have resolved on it’s own over the course of a few days. I couldn’t connect any of my phone’s to it through Bluetooth without the speaker turning off and then on again. I’d have to reset it using the Speakerphone and Increase Volume buttons, then restart my phone for it to hold a connection, but one day it just stopped....

Chosen Solution Using the power adapter (two seperate adapters) or battery power doesn’t make a difference. When pressing power, the Mac keeps repeating the start up chime. Sometimes the LED on the power connector goes on an off. Shift key LED never activates. I’ve swapped out RAM with different pair and still the same. Could this be IO board? Chosen Solution Hi I’ve just worked through the guide to change my superdrive for an additional HDD. At the same time I also swapped the HDD for an SSD to boost speed. Which ever drive sits in the original HDD bay seems to work perfectly (currently sending this via the SSD). However, the drive sitting in the superdrive replacement bay doesn’t seem to come up on the desktop, or even be findable as far as I can tell....

Chosen Solution I have a Denon x3500 a Lg 55” UM6910PUC TV and a LG bk80 4k blu ray player. I have the blu ray, and tv hook to the avr and the blu ray is only giving me options for 2.1. I can’t get 5.1 or 7.1 sound. I can only get all speakers going when i set the avr to multi chan stereo. I’ve set the setting on the disk to 5....

Chosen Solution My 2013 MBA went through liquid damage about 2 weeks ago. I took it to a third party shop and they got it running, but it required a battery replacement. After getting the battery replaced, I noticed that the whole system runs a bit more sluggish than it used it. I did a clean wipe and reinstall of OSX Mavericks, and its still a bit sluggish (not as bad as when I first picked it up)....

Eddie, this particular series has its fair share of problems. For example, there is the dreaded BIOS F39 issue which cause absolute failure and is a firmware issue that, most of the time, will require motherboard replacement. Then there is the overheating issue....

Chosen Solution Camera is not writing files to the cf memory card and is saying a card is not inserted. maybe contacts are greasy. try to degrease it, any white spirit/alcohol will do. also, you might need to format/reformat the memory card using camera… I’ve also discovered that this happens because of a bent pin in the camera where the CompactFlash card plugs into the camera. Mine has been the two pins closest to the eject button....

Hi Henry, Okay, biggest sign I see right now is that the ribbon cable that’s mounted on the joycon rail is supposed to be connected to the motherboard, so if it came out when you removed the rail then it’s definitely not connected any more. Assuming it’s not like torn in half, you’ll need to open up the Switch in order to reconnect the cable....

Chosen Solution This morning, my phone’s power button and home button were not responding. I shut the phone down, which resolved the issue. Then the phone started turning off by itself. I would power up the phone to only have it shut off 2 minutes later. Then a static noise starting coming out of the speaker while it was on. It’s now not turning on at all. Chosen Solution Hi! My mid 2014 Macbook wiFi isn’t working, it used to work fine for some time, but then suddenly stopped working. It shows “Error no hardware installed” I have tried every possible reset (NVRAM, PRAM, SMC), macOS reinstall, network config reset. I even ordered replacement part for Airport board and changed and nothing helped. Hardware test results in error CNW001 Once in few months it randomly starts to work fine for 1 hour, usually if I haven’t touched my Macbook for a long time, then wifi disappears after an hour and never comes back....

I ask because I will be installing my second Xbox into a custom case. Which I understand is warranty voiding, but it was bought used.
