Chosen Solution Greetings, Purchased a replacement battery here and tools and used the excellent guide to replace the battery in my 3GS. All went well, and it initially fired up and ran fine, but it became apparent that the battery was not charging. I just re-skinned it and very carefully reassembled it, no change. I get the lightning bolt and empty battery icon with a sliver of red, and it has not moved or woken up past that after a half-hour of charging over USB off my laptop....

Chosen Solution My PowerBook does not start-up. I get a chime, then a gray screen with Apple logo and a spinning wheel. I have reset the PRAm and PMU, checked the RAM, in Target mode Disk Utility says the drive is good and I’ve repaired it. Also in Target mode I cannot install a new OS. When booting from the Leopard DVD I get a light gray screen, then a blue screen, then a dark gray screen....

Chosen Solution I finally reformatted one of Xbox hard drives I had sitting on my shelf. I install it, I boot it up, and I go through setup to make sure everything works and resale it. Then I inserted a Blu-ray. It made a strange noise after the disc was already in, like it still was trying to feed. It doesn’t register a disk at all. Chosen Solution Hi, When I turn on my XBOX360 Slim console after few minutes the light on the power brick turns red and the console shutting down and sometime it even won’t turn on because when I try to turn on the console and see that it won’t I check the power supply and see that the light is red without me touching the consloe for few weeks…. Noise problems in audio circuits can sometimes be caused by a missing earth connection between the different boards so that effectively they are at different potentials or perhaps faulty filter capacitors on the supply rails to the audio amp ICs (not the main supply capacitors but on the supply rail at each audio amp IC)....

Chosen Solution Hey everyone! I have a problem with a mid-80s sony walkman (Sony WM-31), as the wheels don’t spin when I press play. The belts seem fine and the cylinders spin when I manually move the cylinders the belts are attached to. What’s the problem here? Could it still be the belts, i.e. they’re too loose maybe? @yaboyenrico you are not telling us if the motor actually spins. Start with that, then the belt....

Chosen Solution My small Massey Ferguson tractor has died. The battery is charged up, the electrical doesn’t appear to be damaged, the starter seems to be okay, I have removed and cleaned the ignition switch, but nothing causes the starter to turn over. Next step seems to be to replace the ignition switch. Does anyone have any other ideas? Thanks. You can try to check the oil pressure. Massey 1250 has numerous safety switches....

Chosen Solution why does the input selection screen keep flashing up on my tv Hi, Try removing the batteries from the TV’s remote control unit to see if it is a sticking or faulty input button on the remote control causing the message to appear. Are you using another remote control in the room to control something else, like a DVD player or DVR etc. when this happens? If so, check to see if this may the cause of the message appearing....

Chosen Solution I’ve changed every fuse and got new bulbs but they still won’t turn on I changed every fuse in every fuse box the driver side the passenger side and the fuse box under the hood I found a similar post that may help! There is a seccond fuse box on the passenger side. 2000 honda accord tail and dash lights not working..

Chosen Solution All of a sudden after some flickering a quarter of my screen on the left side has gone bad. The colours are not what they are supposed to be like on the rest of the screen. There’s a split by a vertical line. Is this a software issue or a hardware issue? Can it be fixed without replacing the entire screen? If you have the same bright/dark division it is a hardware issue....

Only neg photos Hi, Not sure of your camera app, but check the following: Open the camera app, tap Settings (usually flower? symbol lower left corner of screen, tap Colour Effect, scroll down and see if ’negative’ is selected. Chosen Solution I have a Toshiba Satellite L505D, that I’ve owned for almost six years now. The machine works great, and it’s my main workhorse. Earlier this year, it started experiencing trouble booting up. When I press the power button, the indicator lights for power, battery, and charge are a steady green, however the hard drive light doesn’t even blink. Chosen Solution I have a Samsung galaxy tab3 lite and when I plug my earphones in it comes out through the speakers for some reason and usually the earphones I have works with my tablet. I have tried to reset my tablet and no changes. Hi @gamergrlashley , Does the headphone icon appear on the display when you plug in the headphones? If not it may be that the headphone jack is either loose from the systemboard or is faulty and needs to be replaced....

Chosen Solution i will turn them on and they will not move. Hi, Have you checked that the fuse is OK? Try fuse #24 See images for location. Click on images to enlarge for better viewing. If the fuse is faulty, be aware that there is always a reason that a fuse blows. It may be fatigue, where the fuse breaks due to vibration over a long period of time, but if there is not much of the fuse left (or if a replacement fuse blows when you operate the wiper switch) then most likely there is a fault in the equipment that it supplies (in your case the wiper motor or even the washer pump, as it supplies both) causing excessive current to flow through the fuse and burn it out....

Chosen Solution The USB ports don’t charge my phone when my computer is on sleep mode .. Any help ? On some machines there is a setting in the system bios to allow power to remain on to the USB ports while the machine is in a powered down state. If such a setting exists on your laptop then it could be all you need to change. Update (05/12/2016) A quick search online has lead me to Toshiba’s sleep and charge feature which might be what you need: http://forums....
