Use the Software Repair Assistant on computer to repair your device. Also says that it failed to validate boot image. Scrolling through different screens. Downloaded a Motorola utility, but it doesn’t recognize the device. Says it reports being model 000000000000000 (and more zeroes). Shopping for a new one, anyway within a year it’ll be obsolete, but wondering what happened....

Chosen Solution -I did have a protective glass on the screen, I thought maybe there was liquid under it, but removal of the protective lens proved wrong. -There were minor screen lines and a few pixels near the top but never this bad. What’s going on? The LCD looks like it took water. You will have to replace the screen assembly. The repair guide is here.
Chosen Solution Some days ago my son’s DELL Latitude D620 suddenly started flickering steadily during normal work. This occurs already during POST, combined with red lines evenly arranged vertically all over the screen, appr. every 1cm.
