Some such as the settings on your device may not be allowing your device to connect or ,in a more extreme case, your WiFi Receiver may be damaged and need to be replaced....
Chosen Solution My iphone got driven over by a car. I changed the screen and the battery. Phone turns on but it’s getting really hot right away when i connect the battery. It gets hot even when it’s turned off. It heats from the lcd connectors. So heat is definitely not coming from the top of the screen?
