Chosen Solution I installed a new screen that also already had the front facing camera and speaker. Everything is kosher except for now when I try to use my rear camera, the screen remains black with a symbol signaling that the flash is disabled as well. The front facing camera works just fine. I’ve installed many screens before but never with the small components. I’ve played with the possibility of transferring the original front camera and speaker, but would rather not mess with it if it’s not a viable solution....

Chosen Solution Received a used Toshiba satelite A105. Was working fine for a while. Has XP as the OS on it. When i first had it it was connecting to WIFI via the regular network manager. Chosen Solution I’ve got an issue on my iMac 27 mid 2011 (EMC2429). I can’t change the firmware password, nor disable it, and can’t permanently set startup sound volume. I know the password, I can run to recovery mode with typing the password, and when go to the ‘Firmware password‘ utility it says me it off (=has been disabled) while when I boot with ‘Option‘ or ‘Command+R‘ I’m still prompted for the password....

Chosen Solution I bought a replacement SSD (pre-owned). When I power up, it would only go to recovery drive. Name of the drive was “osx 10.. (clone)” it was encrypted (el capitan). So I erased it and installed Sierra. It keeps telling me I don’t have permission. Come to find out It has a VM 2 GB partition, Recovery 700-800 MB. In Disk Utilities when I go to info on the main drive owner enabled says yes, on VM says no, on (my) Untitled says no....

Chosen Solution When I open the camera on this device it only shows a black screen. Check to see if anything is blocking the camera lens. Make sure there is a good amount of lighting when taking a picture. If the camera still is not functioning, you may need to replace the camera.

Chosen Solution My front camera works fine, my flashlight is also working fine, but whenever I try to flip the camera to the rear it glitches a couple of times between front and back and then when it finally shows the back camera it’s nothing but a black screen. Nothing is covering my camera and there’s no scratches or any visible damage to the lens, could this be a hardware issue?...
