Chosen Solution I was using a wireless speaker with my phone and it just went black. the music kept playing so i shut off the speaker. I tryed putting my phone to charge but its not working. it a new phone, has had no contact with water, and has never had any problems before . Christy, You can try a soft reset. Remove the back panel and pull the battery out....
Chosen Solution Error 5, turn power off and on. Just makes clicking noise and will not open. rpfaff, Error 5 means flash error. Place thumb on rear left hand side of popup flash and apply light pressure to manual assist in it to open. Now press the manual flash popup button and providing you still have pressure on the rear left hand side of the popup, it should lift, if not try wiggling flash gently while assisting it to open with thumb and index finger, while depressing popup button....
Chosen Solution My tablet was dropped from a 2ND floor. 3/4 of the screen now has black and white lines but this part of the screen still responds to touch. When i first turn it on the whole screen is visible but within 8-10 seconds the b & w lines return in that same part of the screen. Based on this info and the picture i posted will replacing the lcd digitizer fix the problem....

Chosen Solution I got it as a fix it up and when i opened it up, it was corroded on the U7000, the U7400, the keyboard Connector and the u7200. The powerbutten does nothing. When I short the powerpads , nothing happends. (one powerpad has power ). The battery is ok and charges. I tryed to desolder the U7000 but its stuck. (I tryed flux and different angles ) every tip would be helpfull....

Hi @somgud , Sorry, without a schematic of the motherboard (systemboard) circuitry it is very difficult to be specific about where the problem might be. Getting the power light to blink red indicates that at least power is getting somewhere into the laptop. Whether all the separate power rails for the various different voltage supplies required within the laptop itself are OK is a different matter....
Chosen Solution My mini dv sony camcorder will only operate when plugged in. It will be plugged in for hours, and once plugged it is unplugged it will turn off completely. How do I fix it so it charges and I can use it? This is a standard case of a bad battery. I would need the model of your camcorder to help you further.
Chosen Solution I replaced my battery a second time after the first stopped charging at all. The second battery only seems to charge once it has run out completely and not while plugged in and being used - I have attached a coconutBattery screenshot. Any ideas? Chosen Solution Im trying to tear down my iphone 4 and when i get to the vibrator screws they wont come out i tryed using a #00 philips screw driver and a pentalobe screw driver and it dosent help the screws just dont come out! Ofek, I think these screws have thread locker on them, so it will take a little extra coercing to get them to come out. I’m not sure how you would’ve used a pentalobe screwdriver on a Phillips head, but maybe your screws head is different?...

Please help! The audio format might not be capable with your phone. Try converting it to something like mp3 or Flac. They are both supported universally. Check your owners manual to see the formats it supports....

Chosen Solution When I turn on the phone it asks for the sim card, but I’ve already inserted it. I tried using a different sim card and my phone didn’t read the other one either. What else can I try? Sometimes the pins in the phone (little gold prongs) get a little dirty. Try opening the phone to see the sim contacts and check for dirt/flattened/broken pins etc. If they are too flat you can try lifting them up (gently as they are fragile) with a small toothpick/tool....
Chosen Solution The wifi wouldn’t turn on, the slider was stuck on off and grayed out. After removing the battery and powering it on again, the wifi slider is no longer grayed out, but turning it on causes it to get stuck on the on side and after some time, it will turn off again. Despite this not working just a few minutes ago, turning airplane mode on and off caused the wifi to start working again....

Chosen Solution Recordings shows up in screen of Zi8, but when plugged into my computer the only thing I get is a blank screen and my voice Try removing and reading your SD card with a cheap USB to SD card reader (bestbuy or walmart should be less that $20). You should be able to browse the files and find files named <date/time stamp>.mp4 or something like. After seeing the very comical looking USB port on this thing I would suspect that is your point of failure....
