Chosen Solution I replaced the screen and on starting up everything worked fine, both the lcd and digitizer. After putting it to sleep, however, it has a black screen. If I disassemble again, undo and redo cable connections, same thing happens. Works fine until you hit the sleep button and then it has a black screen. I put the original/cracked screen back on and everything worked. Used it that way for a couple weeks....

I’ve tried using different extension cords, changing wall plug outlets, changing USBcable, changing USB adapter for wall plug, taking out sim card, putting a pin in the small hole beside the sim card slot, tapping phone in palm of hand, tapping phone on hard floor, wiggling USB cable where it plugs into phone, rebooting the phone, shutting down the phone. If you turn on the TV it will work great all day with no issues, but if you turn it off and then back on it will go darker on 75% of the right side. The other 25% is still normal. Wanted to do a Time Machine backup before starting any work. The drive was an exFAT, so I used Disk Utility to reformat but could only do it GUID Mac OS Extended, not APFS. You have several issues here and they may or may not be related. The common denominator here is that they all occurred after your repair attempt. Chosen Solution I repaired my iPhone and it was really dusty inside so I’m thinking the contacts are dirty. The rest of the screen works just not the left side of the screen. Chances are that this is a defective replacement screen. However, as you noted, if the inside is very dusty, check the connectors to insure they are free of debris. I would also re-install the original screen, if it still “worked” to see if the problem is consistent with the screen or the phone....

However after i turned on my phone, a white shadow appeard on the top right corner. I tried reconnecting it but it didnt help. Chosen Solution Been a while ago, my all electrical devices burnt because power surge that I lived, fortunately I repaired all devices except magsafe 2 45 watt, I replaced all broken power components of magsafe 2 (capacitor, varistor, fuse and inductor) then I connected 39k ohm resistor to output pins (0.6v without connecting 39k ohm) and I saw 15v on output, It worked technically and charged my MacBook as well but sometimes light turns off suddenly and charging stops, after unplugging cable and plugging it again, It starts charging again but not for long, I can’t estimate what’s wrong with it, thanks in advance....
Chosen Solution plzzzz fast answer * If it doesn’t work, it may be locked if it originally came from a carrier. If it’s not locked it should work with different sims. If locked, it’s locked to the one carrier until released. You’ll need to find out where this phone came from and what company if purchased from someone else. Some Iphone updates will also update carrier settings, for that unit I believe it’s 10....
