Hi, An overheating battery (gets very hot as opposed to one which just gets warm) is never a good sign and indicates that there is a problem with the charging circuit of the battery or the battery itself. Depending on the battery ’type’ (you don’t state the model number), if left on charge it could potentially cause a fire. Therefore I recommend that you do not attempt to charge it or leave it connected to a ’live’ power outlet....

Chosen Solution after updating my note 2 to an unofficial android 5.5 it stopped configuring s pen that only works for clicking now . no air view or s pen settings any more You need to flash back to original Samsung stock firmware if you want the S-Pen functions to work properly. And in most cases you will probably have to do a factory reset which will lose data, so if you do so make sure to backup before flashing....

Thats good you checked to make sure you had the power cable plugged in and it was a good outlet because that is the initial troubleshooting step. Next try to clean out all the vents and filters because an accumulation of dust can cause the projector to not turn on....

Chosen Solution Why doesn’t this site carry replacement glass for this model? All of the replacement glass I’ve gotten back from search are so much more expensive than the older models. iFixit doesn’t carry every possible part! They just couldn’t as its quite bit of expense to do so. As far as why the costs are higher for the 2012 and newer systems has to do with the complexity of the display, The newer Thin series systems use a custom laminated design vs the older cover glass and discrete display panel which was standard....
