Chosen Solution Hello every body. my computer gives black screen of death ( no responsive mouse or keyboard) just the fans spinning. i can get a screen signal only if i removed the ram and the SMOS battery and turn it on. it will give me 5 long beeps after i reseat them back i get a signal on screen mouse and keyboard. or if i removed the cpu fan cable and the rear fan cable then i get a signal on screen as error in fan and if i would like to boot i hope u can help me greetings...

Chosen Solution My drill is plugged in to a wall outlet, which seems to be a sufficient power source but the drill itself will still not power on. It sounds like your problem isn’t regarding the power source itself but is most likely the power cord itself. Over time the wiring within the cord can become worn and frayed which results in no power to the drill at all. Chosen Solution Hi, yesterday I followed this guide to install an extra SSD: Installing iMac Intel 21.5" EMC 2428 Dual Drive Kit But after finishing and reassembling the iMac would not power on anymore. Nothing at all. No fans. Nothing. So reopened it to check the diagnostic LEDs. Only 1 of them is on when the AC is connected. That could indicate a power supply problem. But if I connect the AC cable while holding down the power button then all fans will run at full speed, which to me suggests that the power supply is ok....

Chosen Solution why is my fan belt squeaking @tomcat66 fan belts make a squealing noise usually because the belt is slipping on the metal pulley and that is what makes the noise. Fan belts do not squeak for very long. they will eventually snap.
