Chosen Solution My MacBook Pro 13" 2009 Unibody shuts down randomly. I purchased it from a friend. I noticed the battery needed to be serviced and the body below the keyboard would get hot, so I got a new one installed at a local Mac repair shop. New battery is great, low cycle count. Heat issue was better. It even charges up to 100% percent no problem. But when it is off the charger and goes down to say below 50% it will automatically shutdown....

Chosen Solution I install some application to my iphone yesterday when I was trying to restore my iphone back via itunes, I’ve got this problem where I should insert some password, I dont know what password does it mean, i tries to insert itunes password instead but it didnt work sigh but then I inserted my password in small letter instead of capital letter in my itunes password, then, it restore back up for my iphone, BUT THEN, my iphone is like stuck or somethg, it cant be switch off or on, it got this apple logo on the screen, just the apple logo with dark coloured background :’( HELP ME!...

Chosen Solution My new macbook is taking too long to charge (taking about 18-20 hours to charge fully). The cycle counts for this macbook are just 4. Moreover, this macbook is new although but I have started using it after few months. Furthermore, I have even tried resetting SMC. But still facing this issue. Besides that, I have also installed coconutBattery. You’ll need to try a second charger & USB-C cable to be sure, I’m suspecting the charger has a problem....

Chosen Solution When I received my package from ifixit it came in a box with a large sticker saying prohibited on passenger aircraft. I assume it’s because it’s a lithium battery. IATA rules specify that a battery rated below 100Wh is allowed as a carry on item as long as the lithium metal content is between 2g and 8g. My new battery is rated 95Wh and with a total of 8660Mah it’s not possible for the metal content to exceed the 8g per cell....

Chosen Solution my iphone over brightness in some areas of my screen Its a bad screen. More specifically, it looks like a bad backlight. If you did the repair yourself, you can replace the backlight pretty easily. Otherwise, if you paid someone to fix it, they should swap the screen out for you. That kind of damage usually comes from someone trying to force the screen in, cracking the backlight. These displays are getting thinner and more delicate, can’t use much force at all with them now....

Chosen Solution i have a vertical discoloration on my lg pc monitor? @dominick2000 if it is a single pixel thick line it is most likely a bad TAB. You can try and exert some pressure on the small ribbon cable that enters the LCD. If that line changes it is a failed TAB. That would require a replacement of the display since failed TAB’s require special machinery to repair. This could be a problem in the display or the computer video adapter....

Chosen Solution My friends ipod Nano broke and it doesn’t want to turn on! @%^! put it on his ihome it says its charging but that’s all it does! It refuses to turn on! Chosen Solution my phone charging port is broken every time i charge my phone it lights up but its not charging and i need to know if it can but replaced. Please be advised that you will need to remove the screen to do this . Take your time aplply heat to the screen with a hot air gun to loosen the glue holding it shut. You will also have to solder the new port to the board ....

There could be hair/debri wrapped around the brush rollers or perhaps belt has came off or broke. Chosen Solution My speaker will not turn on even though it’s been plugged in for several hours. I’ve tried resetting it but that hasn’t worked. Try checking if your speaker is charging when it is plugged in. To make sure it is charging, there will be an orange light that appears next to the word charge. Chosen Solution I know when I upgraded the hard drive in my 2011 iMac the fan spun way too fast because the new drive didn’t have the same internal temp as the original drive and I had to order the exact drive from apple to make the fan spin at normal speed. I’m curious if the same applies when upgrading the hard drive in a 2012 macbook pro? I want to put a SSD in it but does the macbook have the temp sensor on the drive?...

Chosen Solution 2.16 GHz Machine was overheating and shutting down after running for 15 minutes. I tore it down, cleaned the vents, reapplied thermal paste, replaced the optical drive. Updated from 10.6.2 to 10.6.4, installed iLife “11, Norton “11 and did all updates. Machine now runs (4 hours with no heat problem). Optical drive from G5 iMac works fine. Problem is that it won’t see the battery. Battery has a 90% charge and boots on another MBP just fine....
