Chosen Solution I have this iphone 7 and it heats up even not in use. As it in stand by mode. It charge normally. It also shuts down or restarts sometimes randomly even before battery is zero. It heats up during use and while not in use. Secondly, battery drains fastly when not in use followed by heating as mentioned above. The problem may be because of a faulty/heavily degraded battery....

Chosen Solution I can open the optical drive and insert a CD/DVD but once the drive is shut the CD/DVD does not read. Danielle Hepperle, make sure that your drive is till recognized by your BIOS as well as your operating system. You could try and reinstall the drivers for it as well. Get yourself a CD Drive cleaning kit and see if you can clean the lasers which are most likely causing this issue....

Chosen Solution My battery is fully charged. When i press the power button, i hear the “on” sound; however, my screen stays black! Try resetting your PMU. This is done by simultaneously pressing and then releasing Shift-Control-Option-Power on the keyboard. Also try a PRAM reset by holding command, option, P and R during the boot process. If neither of these options work I would recommend trying to attach an external display to see if that gets any image....

Chosen Solution Hi, My magsafe plug is showing a dim green when plugged into my macbook and it wouldn’t power up and the battery quantity indicator is blinking. I disconnected my battery from the laptop, then plug in magsafe and laptop managed to boot. I only managed to do this 2 times out of 5 and everytime i unplugged the power cord from the wall socket for 5mins or so. so when it didn’t work on the 5th time i removed the logic board and found no corrosion except for this ‘chip’ that is rusted (circled red)....

Chosen Solution kid dropped a glass on the tablet and broke the LCD behind the glass. its actually the 2018 model but that option wasn’t available when making this post (t387w). I’ve ordered a new screen with the frame ect. and i feel comfortable doing the repair myself. from what i can tell its just swapping the parts from old to new, no big deal but i realize now after ordering the part that it doesnt come with the adhesive strips for the battery....

I thought at first you meant a beep code, reading the question again I believe the white screen is the video card not on, I would say you have a dead or shorted bad battery or your hard drive is gone....
Chosen Solution My Sony Handycam 108 has been having a fuzzy picture in the center. I assume that it is the focusing lenses but I don’t know enough about camera’s to fix it. What do I do? You may be confusing focusing the camera with a much simpler problem; the lens being dirty. Try cleaning the lens with a swab of alcohol. If that does not work then you may want to try resetting the camera....
