Chosen Solution cant turn the setting on to hammer action john.the.trucker, Sound like like the hammer selection switch is sticking, you may have to take the drill apart and clean the internal mechanism then lightly lube it with lithium grease. The engagement lever could also be damaged and need replaced. Posted a link below on disassembly, not your exact model but may help you get the drill apart enough to make repair and a link showing exploded view of internal parts....

Chosen Solution I have a 1999 oldsmobile alero I just replaced the ecu box and ignition . The security light finally stopped blinking and the doors chime again and the trunk opens again but it still won’t start. When trying to start it it does turn off like it did before switch parts now it seems like there is no gas or battery no juice but there is gas and battery good....

Chosen Solution Hello everyone, I just bought a second hand iPhone 7 knowing that its wifi would not work but since I had another iPhone 7 which wifi is working properly I thought to switch the pieces (speaker/wifi antenna). Chosen Solution Mac has seen us good for 3+ years. Recently it started to run very hot and then stop working, screen would blank out. A restart would get us going again. Now the machine won’t boot past the white screen with grey Apple and spoked wheel spinning. Have followed Macforums troubleshooting: Safe boot, NPRN reset etc. Have run Disk Utility from OSX Snow Leopard. Disk Repair failed: Told to back-up, reformat and restore....

Chosen Solution Hi, this AVR (Yamaha RX-V1400) got moved upstairs and for some reason the volume buttons on the remote RAV238 stopped sending to the AVR. Every other button I touch does send (the red light in the upper left shines when a key is pressed). It’s just the volume up / down (press them, no red light) that are the only keys not working. Chosen Solution I have a 300gb ps3 slim will this kit include everything needed to fix it on the slim rachel, sure sounds like a YLOD. Anyhow, make sure it is in a well ventilated places, and that he air inlet opening are clean. Make sure that your fans works. If all that is okay, you could try to replace your thermal pads/thermal compound and even a reflow. The YLOD kit on ifixit is not really for the slim, but I suppose it could be used....

Chosen Solution I’ve updated my iMacs HDD to a Samsung 860EVO 2TB. Everything was fine until i opened the imac to align the Thunderbolt ports to the chassis (check my other issue Thunderbolt ports (USB-C) no longer working). After i aligned the logic board to the chassis i turned on the computer and saw the prohibitory symbol (do not enter). Tried to enter with the alt key, i see Macintosh HD as a drive but it wont boot, once i select it i see the prohibitory symbol....

Chosen Solution I replaced a dead battery on my MacBook Pro and now the keyboard and trackpad aren’t working. The battery works fine, but the fans come on like gangbusters and won’t go off. My problem is with the iPad Air 1. When I replace the digitizer the “a” works only on the landscape keyboard if you press with your thumb on the screen and finger behind the device. Chosen Solution My computer is getting slow and how do i clean it. Depending on long its been it may be time for a format and install of the operating system. I used to do this every three months but for an average user once a year should do. Over time the registry gets messed up slowing things down and causing freezes and reinstalling gets you a whole new registry. Make good backup of important files and i would recommend formatting and a clean install....
