Chosen Solution Hi It could be a faulty battery However It could be that the battery needs recalibrated as new battery’s need to “learn” how to read their percentage properly I have had loads of them that act like this and it’s usually that or the battery connector just needs reseated I would try charging it up fully then draining it till flat a couple times to help recalibrate it and if the issue persists contact iFixit to see about getting a replacement or a refund iFixit support is great so they will make it right:-) Hopefully this helps Any questions please ask Thanks:-)

Chosen Solution I noticed recently that when trying to put a disc into my macbook, it was very hard to insert the disc. It still went in, but took a significant amount of force. Once it get in far enough, the drive started making noise and trying to accept the disc, however it would never actually go in. I took it to the genius bar and was told I needed a new drive, but it was out of warranty....

Chosen Solution Hello my ipod classic 4th gen 40gb will not charge in the house, or do anything(it has a blank screen after a battery replacement) I just get a battery indicator with a battery symbol stuck, unless it’s in the car then it can. Chosen Solution My wifi has been dropping intermittently over the past few weeks (on multiple networks too) and would only re-connect after I completely restarted the device. I replaced the board but after installing the new AirPort/Bluetooth Board it still isn’t connecting and now I’m getting a “Wi-Fi: No Hardware Installed” message. I even opened up my computer again to ensure that everything was connected properly. When I did this it did connect for about 15 minutes before kicking me off the wi-fi again, thus forcing me to restart the device, to which it then said “No Hardware Installed”....

Chosen Solution Hi, i have a bunch of LCDs (not digitizer) from broken droid 1s on hand. I just obtained a droid 2 that has a broken LCD. I can directly substitute the parts? The flex ribbon cable connecting the digitizer, lcd and earpiece to the motherboard also seem to be the same part. Will the direct substitution work? I just tried it out. The droid 2 motherboard can completely be swapped into a droid 1 frame, provided you use the back housing of the droid 2 (the headphone pins are slightly different in layout)....

Chosen Solution My steam button has failed on my Shark Proffessional iron. Button stays down. Can I repair this? I saw a blog from someone with the same problem and they tried prying the button up and griping the piston below it to raise it. This seemed to work for them. I tried and the button will not come off when pried up. I cannot see a way to open the iron from the top....

Chosen Solution I was using my iMac earlier, it suddenly switched off and I cannot get it to turn back on. The computer did get very wet towards the end of last year, he had a couple of glitches but seemed to be okay. I’m not sure if this is the problem…. Chosen Solution After display problems would come and go gradually got worse, from onset, I opened it to find now only black and white lines with a liquid looking distortion in bottom corner. I have NOT dropped it ever. I got the drop and spill coverage but under warranty was told it was OS. Not covered???? Then I discover though I bought it new it had been purchased 2 months before a claim filed but then dropped and returned within 30 day period....

Chosen Solution My Nextbit Robin feels like it is expanding, and the screen is turning yellow around the sides. Would this be the battery expanding, crushing the screen and pushing out the back of the phone? Yes, a failing battery can expand. You need to take it out before it damages the screen.

Chosen Solution I changed the digitizer and it was not acting right. I the touch button on the screen are not accurate. Then the screen went black but the ipad is powered on and alive cause i can hear the sound when i connect it to power. I dont know what to do now? Start by double checking your work with this guide. Chosen Solution Hello, Why doesn’t the Mac mini 2,1 support El Captain? If it has 2gb of ram, 2.0ghz C2D and a 64-Bit EFI, shouldn’t el captain run on this? Apple would have to write the code to do this and it isn’t in their financial interest to write code for this old a machine and give it away. The whole idea is to make your machine obsolete so you have to buy a new one....
