Chosen Solution After the display assembly replacement, the device doesn’t turn on, but only shows (full screen) the battery (as if it would be out of charge) and the lightning plug icons. Once I plug it in, only the battery icons remain, and if I disconnect the battery (while the plug is in) it shows the apple logo for a few seconds and then gets shuted down. Is there something I could try before contact the vendor asking for the replacement?...

Chosen Solution Hello Samsung TV LED LCD UE55F6320 The image became whiter, as if we had added a translucent white screen in front. (l was play on PS4 and suddently this appear) I can switch the image source (hdmi1,hdmi2,tv,pc, etc etc) it is always the same thing. Menu look like this @jigsaw28 first thing you want to try and check to see what the menu s look like. If those are washed out as well it is either a bad T-con board or a bad panel....

Chosen Solution No use replacing the power button, the iPhone would boot without it if it was working, just unplug it from the board if you think it might be faulty. Try plugging in the bare minimum, lightning dock, screen and battery. If it can’t boot you probably have a board issue and with today’s used 5s prices it wouldn’t be worth the repair cost.

Chosen Solution Hello there, I am currently trying to repair a ZBook 17. After plugging in the power adapter the leds blink for 3 seconds and it turns off again, the screen remains black. After a while of troubleshooting i found that when I unplug the display cable from the motherboard OR from the display unit (and connecting an external VGA screen) it gets to POST. Can this be caused by a bad display cable although it is causing no error when it reamins plugged in the motherboard and is disconnected only at the LCD?...

Chosen Solution Where can I order speakers for pixel slate? Hi @jt57 There doesn’t seem to be much available in the way of spare parts for the tablet. The best I can suggest is that you open the tablet and check if there is any identifying information e.g. part number on the speaker itself. Looking at the image in Step.9 of the ifixit Google Pixel Slate Speaker Replacement guide, there is a label on the speaker cable which shows “Left” ( for obvious reasons) but hopefully there may be something printed on the other side, whilst at the other end of the speaker there is a 4 wire ribbon cable which also has info on it at the speaker end but it is too small for me to make out what it says, even when zoomed in....

You could re-install the original screen if it still works (even though it may be cracked) just to see if the problem is still there. Chosen Solution My battery got bulky after the phone got a bit overheated and I feel like its geting even bigger. Also the phone only works until like 50 percent of the battery is consumed, then it turns itself off. If your phone battery has expanded in size, causing the battery not sit flat, it’s possible that your battery has bloated. Although this bloating is an inbuilt mechanism to prevent pressure building up inside, they might be dangerous and i would recommend you proceed with caution....

Chosen Solution I replaced the battery on my iPhone 5. The screen is fine when the front and back of the phone are separate. When I go to close the phone up, the image starts to fade. There are also vertical lines while the overall image is fading. It seems to be related to something on the left side of the phone near the top. You can probably take it to your dealer and they’ll do it for free. Most high-end cars (even some lower end too) such as Mercedes and BMW specifically say that when an upgrade to the navigation software comes out, you can go to the dealer to get the upgrade, often for free or the cost of the DVD....
