Chosen Solution Recently my keyboard became divided into two parts with a space between the parts. Just use your thumb and forefinger to pinch the two pieces together again. The split keyboard is a feature of the iPad to make it easier to type while holding it. there should also be a toggle in settings>general>keyboard :) Thanks ! Too hard using two sides of my brain at once . The toggle version couldn’t work cause my settings, general, does not the third option keyyboard....

When the phone is plugged in without the battery it will not charge at all. sharon, it is absolutely normal for the phone not to charge with the battery removed; it has nothing to be charged. First thing I suggest, is that you replace the battery. Maybe your charging port is broken, you could replace a new one port and then have a try....

Chosen Solution So before my xz premium completely stopped charging my phone used to randomly stop charging and used to charge very slow. I used a quick charge 3.0 charger and certified usb c cable. I had to put the usb type c cable in a certain position to get my phone charging but after a while it completely stopped charging. I inspected the port it was in good shape no bent, nor broken cleaned the port but no luck....

Chosen Solution I am having the same issue… however I replaced my entire display before bothering to check the backlight fuse. After replacing the display, I looked into the backlight fuse and it tested fine but I still have no backlight. External display works fine. No short in the display circuitry either. Kind of lost from here. Update (12/21/2016) @oldturkey03 Also, I was looking at it with my phone earlier and noticed that there are some potentially bad pins on the LVDS connector....

Chosen Solution I was trying to get the motherboard out so I can replace the thermal paste on the heat sink on the other side, and the last screw in the logic board became stripped. The screw is a 3.9mm screw. I was using a #00 Phillips head screwdrver. It is in the lower left-hand corner. I have a photo of it, but am not sure how to add it here....

Chosen Solution I tried to be careful with the pick when I was cutting the old adhesive, but it looks like I’ve done something to disable touch? The display works fine otherwise, and the battery seems to be charging. Anything I can do about this? @colindiamond double check your work. Inspect the connector to make sure you do not have any broken/bend pins. Check the flex cables make sure that none off those are torn....

Chosen Solution Changes normally everything works great but suddenly tab stops responding and then in seconds battery goes to zero,, @gg322 this “then in seconds battery goes to zero,,” sounds like a battery that is failing. Chosen Solution It turns on just fine without any trouble but nothing appears to show on the screen I tried switching HDMI cords but that didn’t and I also tried switching T.Vs but that didn’t work either Sounds like a faulty HDMI port. If it comes on and goes to the white light but does not show a display then it’s very likely that the HDMI port is bad. It also could be the HDMI ic chip but that’s not as likely....
