Chosen Solution Hi, one day my Sony KDL-50W828B suddenly stopped displaying images. I can hear the menu sounds and see the backlight going on and off when changing input but no picture is displayed. I replaced the T-CON board and the Main board without success. I then found a service manual and replaced the LVDS cable as indicated but still no picture. While I tested the new cable and it seems to be working, I have no way of knowing if the new T-CON or Main Board aren’t faulty....

Chosen Solution So my JBL Flip 5 keeps smoking after one hour of music. I turn it off for at least 10 minutes, then when I try to turn it on, it doesn’t work. I plug it in and then charge it for a few minutes, then it just turns on. It works just fine for an hour, then starts smoking again. I repeat the process and then it just works until it doesn’t....

Chosen Solution how can boot my start up quicker using windows 8.1 Hi @kevon eliott walcott Check how many Startup programs are being loaded when you first start the PC. Some are necessary for correct operation but a lot are there simply to make them faster to open when and IF you need them. If you don’t use them that often, disable them in Task Manager > Startup (see link) restart the laptop and check if it loads quicker and runs better....

Chosen Solution After lcd fpc replacement phone booted fine. Now stuck on apple logo and power supply showing 0.33 amps when button is pressed. Changed tristar and still the same. Any ideas Have you tried a new battery?

Chosen Solution The MacBook Air (original), did stop in the middle of internet surfing. I did restart the MacBook Air (original) with pressing the power button holding down for several seconds. The MacBook Air (original) did never restart and boot again. I tried to restart with the original system DVD and some hot keys. This did look like it worked but then boot process crashed. No restart whether with DVD or any hot key did work....

Chosen Solution My LGL34C Android phone keeps force restarting. Sometimes it doesn’t turn on for a few hours. I factory restarted my phone hoping that will solve the problem but all it did was stop it till the next day. Is there anyway I can stop this or is my phone junk? Chosen Solution My MacBook’s keyboard Touchpad stopped working the other day. Tried removing battery because told they can swell and affect the Touchpad. Cooled it down and put battery back, but still not working. Does an externally connected mouse work? If so, your touchpad may have worn out from use. Do you have any deep scratches or heavily worn areas on the surface? Try using some isopropyl alcohol and a paper towel to clean the surface....

Chosen Solution Electricity interrupted while using coffemaker Hi @harmida, Most probably there is an electrical fault in the percolator. With the percolator totally disconnected from the power, try connecting an Ohmmeter between one connector pin on the percolator’s power cord plug and the metal frame of the percolator and check if there is a reading. Work through the resistance scales of the Ohmmeter, from low to high, to check if there is a reading or not....

Chosen Solution I have a Toshiba Satellite A105-S4074, and the power adapter is not charging my laptop. Is there a problem with the battery, the power adapter, or both? When you plug in the power adapter, does anything light up? Try another power adapter first. Normally a Toshiba laptop can start without the battery. If something does light up, then it’s not the battery, and not the power adapter, it likely is something with the power supply or motherboard....

Chosen Solution My TV stopped working a couple days ago for no reason. Theres no power light, I’ve tried “hard resetting it" by holding the power button with it unplugged, holding the power button with it plugged in, and holding the power and volume down buttons. No bueno. I cant find a single fix and this is the second tv this has happened to. I use my TV’s as a computer monitor by hdmi and the old one would turn on and then immediately turn off, the power light staying on....

Chosen Solution I have replaced a digitizer for a client, and he later brought it back saying the touch screen was acting weird. Upon testing i have been able to conclusively say that on the bottom of the screen, about a centimeter above the home button. the digitizer loses its sensitivity. After about another cm it regains it and works as normal for the rest of it. I have checked the connector....

Chosen Solution I bought a s8 3 weeks back, but yesterday it stopped accepting the charge from the provided charger from samsung. I used another charger and my phone is charging with it (not quick charge). I used my s8 charger with other phone and it’s working fine but not working with my phone. If its only 3 weeks old, contact the place you purchased from or Samsung and get a warranty exchange....

Chosen Solution My wifi connection has been sucking lately and I don’t know why. I contacted the internet company and they said there was nothing wrong. Chosen Solution The Macbook Air mid 2009 A1304 13" is one of those with the hinge issue that plagued so many. I’ve got one here. Replacing the hinge is no problem, but I found while digging into the left hinge that the LCD cable has been damaged. Two of the thin wires in the cable bundle have severed (due to the hinge breaking and then excessive movement of the LCD display)....

Chosen Solution It went dead after I took out the CMOS battery. Before, the light would be on, when I tried to turn it on, but the screen remained black. In fact, it went black and freezed while I was AFK, and then the device would not reboot. I tried then replugging the charger and the main battery with the same result - lights on (at least the “lightbulb“ indicator), no boot....
