Chosen Solution I dropped my phone it cracked a hole botton left hand conner there and orange shiny chip coneted with yellow line and that chip is cracked but when I press down on it makes the touch screen more responsieve and I can kind of see my wallpaper and lock screen but when i let go the black part sperads from left to right even farther and if i press down on the screen where is balck it wont work and it just keep’s geting worse and I cant make it stop....

Chosen Solution I’ve had my Sylvania TV for many years (8+) and it works great! But the power button on the remote control doesn’t work well. It WILL turn the TV on, but you have to hold it down for at least 3-5s. But every other button works great! Volume is not a problem and it changes channels like a dream! Chosen Solution Have held the power and volume up buttons and power and volume down. Have disconnected and reconnected the battery. There could be several different issues causing this but let’s start with the easiest and most common. Verify the Charger is good Verify the Cable is good Clean out the Charging port. (Use a small soft brush with ISO alcohol, toothpick, small tweezers) just be very careful of the small pins inside to make sure you don’t damage them or bend them....

Chosen Solution my vacume was running just fine and I turned it off for a min an when I turned it back on in would not start. Constance Fielder, Could be a internal fuse/power cord/switch/connection/motor/etc. faulty. Try another outlet in the home in case the outlet is faulty(blown fuse/tripped breaker). If under warranty return for repair/replacement/refund. If not under warranty and plugging into another known good working power source did not work, the machine will have to be disconnected from the power and disassembled(first check to see if your model has a fuse right in the plug, that may be blown)....

Chosen Solution I’m not sure if it’s the charging cable bcz the cord is a little loose from the ac plug. It also hasn’t run out of battery in like a couple hours of play time. I charged it like 2 weeks ago. It could be the charger itself. Other than that, you could try seeing if the port on the SP itself is clean, there could be an accumulation of dust/lint....

Chosen Solution Hi ifixit family , my iphone won’t turn back on. It died and it showed the dead battery logo. When i put it on the charger it didn’t turn back on. I let it sit on the charger overnight and still won’t turn on. I tried to hard reset and it still didn’t work. Help !!! first thing id try is to check if the lightning cable goes all the way in and sits flush inside the phone, if its sticking out a little, cleaning out the lightning dock will likely solve this problem....

Chosen Solution I had replaced my screen after 60 days from broken. The touch screen and everytging is working fine, except that the spen is not working in the whole screen. Exactly acrectangle 2 cm below the screen top with length of 4 cm and width of the screen is not recognizing the spen, otherwise the spen works great. What can be the problem ? Chosen Solution So just as the description says, when putting one of the hex screws back in on the antenna plate, I over tightened and stripped one of the screws. And when I say stripped, I mean I stripped the threads, the screw just spins now and doesn’t hold, it just falls out. Is there any solution for this? Usually it’s possible to grab the screw with a pair of needled nose pliers....

Chosen Solution I have an Airties 4920 and it won’t work…..it is stuck in the booting position where it doesn’t boot or start blinking to show that it is booting…..only the power light is glowing in a constant way and will be stuck like this…..any help will be greatly appreciated… Hi Try resetting the device by operating the reset button in the back of the device. Insert a straightened out paperclip in the small hole near the Ethernet ports in the back of the unit for 10 seconds to operate the button and then remove The LEDs in the front of the device will “shimmer” and the device should reboot back to factory default settings....

Chosen Solution The potted aluminum “terminal” from the switch assembly of my grinder isn’t passing through the black wire’s conductivity. Is there anyway to unpot it, or if the components on the inside are well-known, so that I could repair it without unpotting it, such as bypassing it entirely with a jumper wire? Looks like it has some thin lines coming off of it to run a little LED light, so I wonder if that’s its only role....
