Chosen Solution Hello everyone, I have found this iPad mini 4 128gb for sale for 150 euros and talked it down to 120. The seller is saying that they have replaced the iPad’s screen (at a shop where apparently they had been warned that the wifi might be damaged) and that after that the Wifi and cellular are not working, but it can still be connected to a hotspot. They’re also saying the Wifi might be restored through Cydia - not sure where they got this idea form....

Chosen Solution I stepped on my Proscan PLT8802G and cracked the screen. There are 2 cracks and they start in the same place , right above the jack where you plug the key board in. 1 crack goes to one side and the other one goes to the other side. I can turn it on and it charges but that is all. The key board does not work and the touch screen option does not work....

Full story: No prior symptoms, screen goes crazy after only 20 mins use. Restart mac, pink horizontal squiggles cover grey/white boot screen. Apple logo appears and wheel spins for awhile before freezing - every time. After some internet searching try hardware test 6+ times, no result. Try booting to safe mode, loading bar shows and makes it to about 30% before freezing....

Chosen Solution If I remove all the necessary chips from my current icloud locked iphone 6 logic board and put them on a new empty logic board, will it still remove the icloud lock? Yes, that is the idea. However, this requires a lot of expensive equipment and a lot of advanced soldering skill. Only this one is difficult with the user name ( accountname..) lets say the original account name was kevin i changed it in kevcomp1 . It recognized the new accountname.. the only issue was when i started RDP and filled in the username and pasword it did’nt work....

Chosen Solution Hi, everyone. So my macbook seemed to work perfectly fine one day and then refused to power on the next. I’ve tried smc reset various times with power cable and without. I’ve tried it with the battery disconnected, but with the power cable plugged in. I’ve tried to power on with the keyboard disconnected. I’ve tried a lot lol, but it still shows no signs of life. Just the green or orange light on the charger....

Chosen Solution My Sonos Play 5: Gen 1 is great but has unfortunately, stopped working. I’ve checked the fuse in the power connector and it’s fine. I’ve done some research and have realised that there’s actually a glass fuse on the power board inside the speaker which, is what i’m looking to investigate… I don’t know if this problem is popular or not but I have contacted Sonos support and still haven’t gotten a reply so i’m willing to fix it myself....

Chosen Solution Speaker sound distorted and muffled with high pitch tone after dunking in sea water at seaside and micro scratches appears on the top of the screen, please help me repair it If your watch has no damage, get a bowl of warm distilled water (not tap or spring!) carefully take off the straps and place the watch into the water. Let it sit for a few minutes and pull it out press the water drop from the control center then rotate the crown to enable the cleaning cycle which will engage the speaker....

Chosen Solution How can I disassemble and replace the battery on my Sphero Spider-Man? This may also come up later with the BB-8 and R2-D2 toys as well. Sphero has notified me that they are not replaceable and they no longer make the toy. My kids still enjoy this product and it’s frustrating that it only lasted two years and seems to have been designed in a manner that cannot be maintained....

Chosen Solution I recently replaced the fan on my MBP. I purchased a used fan from ifixit and swapped that because mine was REALLY noisy. Then about a week or so later this started to happen. The blue light on the front still blinks slowly, I have to force shutdown the machine, but the screen goes blank and nothing happens. No noises from holding buttons or anything. I’ve tried all of the different resets I can find....

Chosen Solution I’m the proud new owner of my first Apple Watch and have a question (sorry is silly). It’s winter on the eastcoast and like everyone I get the odd static shock touching a door nob etc. so my question is can static shocks damage or harm the Watch? I assume Apple have taken this into consideration with some built in defense, but wanted to get some thoughts on this from someone who may actually know for sure....

Chosen Solution I used to have to have the lid on the bowl before the machine would start, but now I can press the on button and the blades will start to spin even though the lid isn’t on. I am worried this could be dangerous. If your device runs without all the components in place, the safety feature is most likely damaged. The safety switch only allows the processor to work when all of the components are in place....

I have installed a new top case but still have a similar, but not exactly the same, dim screen issue. I purchased a broken Early 2008 MacBook, seemingly needing a new Display Inverter Cable and possibly a new LCD and/or Inverter as the display was very dim....

Chosen Solution After reading numerous replies that my freezer problem could be the electronic control board (part # 297370600) I ordered it and plugged it in and my freezer still has the inside bulb burning ONLY. I tried to program the ecb numerous ways with no results.I continued to do more research by guys more intelligent than me in refrigeration diagnostics and straight wired #2 and #3 terminals where the ecb plugs in the wiring harness as instructed on a You Tube video on left front door panel and the freezer runs,the fan,compressor....

Chosen Solution I recently bought a PowerBook G4 on a bargain just to use on the internet and Word/Excel, it’s a 1,67ghz and it came with 2gb PC2-3200 http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/po… It was loaded with 10.5.6 and it just wouldn’t work properly, it was really slow to a halt. So I reformatted and installed 10.4.6 (updated to 10.4.11) and then I could actually use it - sort of! It’s still very sluggish, even TenFourFox and Safari takes forever to load, it kinda skpis when scrolling webpages… My previous iBook G4 1....

Chosen Solution Ok, so I’ve had this laptop for about 3 years now. It’s been working perfectly fine for the most, until my screen decided to start going crazy with colors and flickering. The screen every now and then starts flickering or it start displaying intense green or purple everywhere, but only in certain positions (angle between screen and laptop body). Also I’ve found a temporary fix, which is to apply pressure at the bottom part of the screen (I have a piece of cloth that I squeezed in between the laptop screen and the body, so that it applies pressure to the bottom part of the lcd) So I’ve opened up the laptop to check if there wasn’t anything loose or a cable that was badly connected and found nothing....
