Chosen Solution I’m fairly sure the logic board on my 80 GB 5th generation iPod has died, and I’d like to replace it. However, it’s quite difficult to find the recommended 820-1975-A logic board with 64MB of RAM. I’m curious, other then the loss of the SEARCH function (mentioned elsewhere on these forums), will the 820-1975-A logic board with 32MB of RAM work with the 80GB iPod? All my music is backed up on my computer, so reformatting the HD is not an issue....

One thing came to my mind: I’m sure people would, if they had the option, rather have their broken Apple Watch Sport Ion-X glass screens replaced with a sapphire glass instead of the Ion-X glass. But.. Will the Apple Watch digitizer work on Apple Watch Sport? Yes, they have the same digitizer and lcd are interchangeable the only different is the surface mount crystal which doesn’t effect performance....

Chosen Solution why are my wipers not working I replaced the underhood fuse box twice with used ones and the swith There are a lot of reasons for your wipers not working but first I must ask why did you replace the entire fuse box or are you replacing just the fuse? Have you tested to see if there’s power at the wiper motor ? Checked the switches for power on each side of the switch....

Chosen Solution Fixing up an old MacBook Pro (2,2) for my mom, here’s what I did: Wiped the drive clean and installed Snow Leopard on it, maxed the RAM at 3 GB and put in a new battery. After I boot the machine and run software updates, it will not boot past the blue screen. Afterwards if I let the battery run all the way down and let it sit over night it will boot....

Chosen Solution How can I fix this myself it was booting up to the os utilities page I tried everthing on the window, then I restarted it and hit the option buton it went to the to disk os based system and recovery I selected the recovery disk and tried it that way. Now im trying to go back and change it back and it wont go. I even tried to restart it in safe mode and couldnt get it to work....

Chosen Solution I have a Wii I explicitly bought to use as a Component Gamecube, due to the cost of actual Gamecube component cables. I may use it for Wii games, but I also didn’t even use the one from 2007 for games most of the time and that was a shared Wii. The controllers work, but the grips have always been gone as long as I have owned them. I tolerate it, but now I think I’m going to use it enough to justify rebuilding the grips....

Chosen Solution A metal lantern fell from my ceiling and landed on my laptop. It was fortunately closed, so the top panel has a small dent but the screen looks shattered and broken (glass is not broken). I have an appointment with Apple but I’m assuming it will be super expensive to fix and not covered under my Limited Warrenty (only bought it 6 months ago). Is there anyone that does this kind of repair other than Apple?...

Chosen Solution Water is shooting up np and the lights work but there is a sound like a scream whenever it happens. tried turning down and even at a low volume it still screams when the water shoots up. I really like these speakers and use them for gaming and I dont want to have to replace them. Please help Sounds like either the water pump (more likely) and/or the pressure fan (less likely) is shot....

Chosen Solution I have 2310 that started and wouldn’t shut down had to turn off fuel , tractor was jump started , any ideas. @product that could be an ignition switch issue as well as the fuel shut off solenoid. It should be on the on the side of the injector pump. It gets a signal from a relay to turn off once the key is turned off.

Chosen Solution My daughter dropped her tablet. The screen isn’t cracked but when you turn it on, it looks like it is, it is broken on the inside. You can somewhat use it but, parts of the screen where it looks cracked, you can’t really see what you’re pressing. The tablet needs a new LCD, this is what displays the pictures.

Chosen Solution I was replacing the backplate and accidentally stripped a screw. the problem is, the screw is on the side of the housing so i cant fit anything in there to try and get it out, the screw driver barely fit. thanks I had a similar problem on a iphone 6 backplate. I had to drill the screw-head out.

Chosen Solution Hi, Since Nintendo support isn’t being very helpful with this, i’m running out of options. So, recently my nintendo switch stopped outputting video signal. It all began when i put the switch into the dock, into which i also plugged the pro controller since the battery was empty. It all went well for a few seconds when suddenly the screen (monitor) went black, the switch screen turned on and the dock LED started flashing....

Chosen Solution My washing machine (GE, top loader) goes through the fill, wash and rinse/drain cycles fine, but then it keeps refilling a little, as though it’s repeating the rinse cycle. I have to “catch” it as soon as it finishes draining and manually advance it to spin. Any ideas? Well, it has moved from the light indicating “wash” to the final light, indicating “spin”. Apparently my oblivious paranoia caused me to believe there was something wrong, when all along I was just impatient…I can’t thank you enough for humoring and humbling me… Looks like it’s been working fine all along....

Chosen Solution the sound has stopped all the functions are working but no sound msthang332001, Make sure the Line In Switch is in the off position if not using the Auxiliary Input, make sure the line-in switch, located on the back of the system near the auxiliary cable, is in the off position. It may be a bad volume switch/connection, bad speakers/connection, possible fuse blown for internal amp. if equipped or could be a faulty amp....

Chosen Solution Help! I just got my new lenovo tab 2 a10-30 just today, it was a gift and it’s from saudi arabia. It’s brand new and sealed when i unbox it and turn it on there’s a sound but no display shown (no lenovo logo), it has light but black out. I tried to charge for a while and restart it by long press at the power botton but still the same....

Chosen Solution I have an iPad that has slowed down, probably due to batteries being old, but my main concern was the home button. It really doesn’t work correctly. It actually presses and I feel it click, but nothing happens. Single click with an app on the screen doesn’t close the app, double click doesn’t close the app and bring up the other apps open in the background. I took it to Apple and they told me it’s too old to reasonably fix due to cost....

Chosen Solution Why does my next book load so slow Hi, Not sure if this works on a Nextbook. Try starting the tablet in “safe mode”. Press the Power button to shutdown the tablet, then press and hold the shutdown or Power off option that appears. Hopefully an option will appear that asks if you want to start the tablet in safe mode. If there is follow the prompts to restart the tablet....

I wanted to check if anyone knows why my iFixit replacement battery for a secondhand iPhone 6s seems to charge at a normal pace until 96% then takes forever to reach 100%. Honestly, it takes so long that I often have to settle for a 80% - 96% charge since I would have to wait around for hours for the phone to reach 100%. Since I inherited this phone from someone else, I can’t say if the original Apple battery had the same issue....

Chosen Solution when I turn on my xbox one I can see the green loading screen but it does not continue. its just keep loading. I waited for a long time but its does not continue. Quick fix Xbox One stuck on loading screen issue by factory resetting. Hold Eject and Sync button, click Power button; Wait for 2 start up tones to sound, a menu with 4 options will appear: Restart, Power off, Factory reset and Update off of Flash Drive; … Then Xbox One will be boot normally again...

Chosen Solution My MacBook was not turning on after charging (Kept seeing orange light) so I got a new battery thinking it is a battery issue.
