Chosen Solution it starts and gets stuck on start up screen With the power off, try removing all the memory sticks and see if you get a beep error or blinking LEDs (Power, Hard Drive and Wireless). If nothing happens then the processor is bad, if you get a beep or blink code it is probably the memory, you can go to the Dell site to get the information on the beep/blink codes....

Chosen Solution Whenever I plug my laptop in, it doesn’t charge. It only runs on battery power. I can’t tell whether it is my adapter or my battery that is the problem. Unfortunately, it is hard to determine if the battery or adapter is issue by just eyeballing it. If the adapter is the issue, you can test it by using another adapter, or simply buying a new one. When I set the panel on diagnostic mode all buttons light up except for the start button. So obviously there are no other indications of trouble but the appliance doesn’t start. Chosen Solution I installed a new battery in my Surface Pro 4 (didn’t see an option for that device). I plugged it in, powered on smooth, and charged up to 100% to begin calibrating. Any solution to the problem? @rampur The SY (instead of 5Y) EF code stands for system error with the evaporator fan. This means that there could be something going on with your evaporator fan. Since you have already tried to reset your fridge I’d suggest you take the back cover off and take a look at the fan etc....

It sounds like you have a leak inside the machine, which would allow water/steam to escape and heat the casing more then normal....
