Chosen Solution Hello! Bought an iPhone 6s of my friend that didn’t start, when you started the phone it was completely black . He said the problem was a bad battery. So I bought a new battery and replaced it, nothing changed. Then I tried to connect to iTunes and it popped up, the phone was in recovery mode (serial was N/A). I tried to restore, the first part worked and the phone showed an apple logo, then turned completely black except the backlight that was still on and the restore failed with unknown error....

Chosen Solution Final Edit: Although the tips i got here were exactly what i needed, i didnt manage to repare the MBP this way. It was nearly impossible to remove the ring that was stuck to the antenna and there were few repair shops with the equipment i needed to repair this. Additionally, this laptop was not mine, but from my boss. She will give this laptop (which had other damage that i repaired) to her daughter, who will enjoy it a lot, but will have to use a USB WIFI dongle....

Chosen Solution Found my old 2007 Amp’d version I put 3 new batteries in it and it will turn on but u cant hardly see the LED lights and it wont play music or bark wine or anything sound at all except a ticking sort of sound. Chosen Solution When I turn on my G3 it has a beautiful picture. After about 10 minutes, the screen flickers with horizontal and vertical lines of all colors. I cleaned the fan and added heat sink compound. The problem still exists. What else can be the problem and can I repair it (self-help)? No computer operates fine other than that problem with the video. Sounds symptomatic of the G3 video chip flaw....
