Chosen Solution I bought an Macbook Pro off of eBay with no HDD and found out that it was firmware locked. The SSD I bought is still being delivered but I was wondering if I put the SSD in the Macbook, will the Macbook be usable or will I still have to type in the firmware lock password? Chosen Solution I recently acquired a 2006 Mac Pro, which, according to the diagnostic LEDs on the logic board, has a fault on CPU B. I’ve tried replacing the thermal paste and checking all connections, but to no avail. I’ve also tried removing the second CPU entirely, but this still doesn’t work. The machine powers on and the fans spin up (the GPU fan in particular is rather loud), but nothing happens beyond that....

After the upgrade, I booted up the device and loaded the TimeMachine backup onto the SSD. Now every time we close down the lid (without turning it off) and wait for about 10 minutes. Chosen Solution Ok. Plugging the cord into the wall brings up the red stand-by light. Pressing the power button you can hear the fan start up for a moment, then about 5 seconds later it shuts down. Red stand-by light disappears. Must unplug, then plug cord back into outlet for red light to reappear. I have bought a Power Supply Unit but that did not fix it. I do believe it was a different model then the one that was in it if that matters....

I tried everything: descaling, cleaning out the needles with a paperclip, slapping it on the bottom, etc., but it still only brews drips of water. I only have been using it for hot water for tea. I slapped it a few times and it started working again, for a while. Now I have a new problem. I put the water in the reservoir, turned it on and selected the cup size and it brewed fine....
